Granita

Makes about 3/4 Quart.

1 1/4 cup Simple Syrup (any flavor)
2 cups fruit juice, strained

Combine above in metal pan and place in freezer, uncovered, whisk mixture every hour until it is almost set, about 4 hours.

Remove mixture from the freezer and scrape surface with the tines of a fork until it is the texture of shaved ice. (Overnight Tip: Freeze overnight without whisking. Remove pan and let sit our for 10 minutes to soften before scraping with a fork) Serve and enjoy!
