Cooking with Ease, Serving in Style
Valerie Denton, founder of Food with Finesse, developed a passion for cooking at an early age. When she was just 11 years old, she began cooking dinner for her family of six so she wouldn’t have to wait for her parents to come home from work to prepare a meal. Her parents directed her into what she calls “creative cooking” because they spent several nights developing their own recipes, many of which she hopes to share with her customers.
Born and raised in rural southern Illinois, Valerie graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in computer science and business. After 22 years in corporate America, Valerie decided to turn her passion for cooking into a business. Years of research and product sampling went into the creation of Food with Finesse. Her goal is to give people like her one-stop shopping for a shortcut to gourmet cooking and entertaining.
Valerie has been married to her husband, Greg, for 21 years. They enjoy cooking with their two children, Alexis and Adam.
